It makes a big difference to your day if you stretch first thing. It balances you, and its obviously very good for your health. I really need to do it straight when I get out of bed, if I don’t I notice I let it slip. I might than do my practice later in the day, but it really isn’t the same as doing something first thing in the morning. Try it out for a couple a days in a row and you will notice the difference.

The poses I practice in this sequence are:

half moon stretch / ardha chandrasana

cat pose / marjayasana

cow pose / bitilasana

cobra / bhujangasana

activating the energy in the lower and upper body

activating the kidneys through standing twists

Yoga Video for Athletes

Yoga Videos

adho mukha svanasana

ashwa sanschalanasana

athletes

Bhujangasana

chaturanga dandasana

Cobra pose

downward facing dog pose

extended side angle pose

low lunge pose

mountain pose

plank pose

standing forward bend

tadasana

uttanasana

utthita parsvakonasana

virabhadrasana I-II

warrior I-Ii
<guid
