It makes a big difference to your day if you stretch first thing. It balances you, and its obviously very good for your health. I really need to do it straight when I get out of bed, if I don&#8217;t I notice I let it slip. I might than do my practice later in the day, but it really isn&#8217;t the same as doing something first thing in the morning. Try it out for a couple a days in a row and you will notice the difference.</p><p>The poses I practice in this sequence are:</p><p>half moon stretch / ardha chandrasana</p><p>cat pose / marjayasana</p><p>cow pose / bitilasana</p><p>cobra / bhujangasana</p><p>activating the energy in the lower and upper body</p><p>activating the kidneys through standing twists</p> ]]></content:encoded> <wfw:commentRss>http://www.yogatic.com/yoga-video/wake-up-yoga/feed/</wfw:commentRss> <slash:comments>19</slash:comments> </item> </channel> </rss>
