Shoulderstand
Hi everyone,
Here a little sequence to prepare the body for the shoulderstand, and I will talk you through the shoulderstand itself. Called the queen of the yoga poses, a very worthwile pose to practice a lot. I would still recommend doing this pose with a life instructor at least once for your alignment. Most important thing to remember though is to keep your neck safe, that is why you use the blanket! Bring your breastbone to your chin, but NOT your chin to your breastbone…
Some of the other poses I demonstrate here are
cow face pose arms / gomukhasana
eagle arms / garudasana
standing forward bend / uttanasana
bridge pose / setu bandha sarvangasana
supported shoulderstand / salamba sarvangasana
fish pose / matsyendrasana
enjoy this little sequence that you can do at the end of any yoga routine.

hi Esther, i follow your demostrations but i failed to finished the sequence as my muscles of shoulder seemed too weak to hold my body and i couldn’t put my legs
