Yoga for Neck Pain
Hi Everyone,
I made this Yoga Video to help relieve neck pain. Sometimes your neck can be stiff, tired, or just unconfortable. These exercdises will help, do them a few days in a row when your neck is sore. Incorparate some of these stretches on a regular basis in your practice to prevent problems.
Esther
Some of the stretches I demonstrate here are:
shoulder rolls
neck stretches
head massage

Thank you so much for the excellent Yoga exercises. I injured my neck doing Jiu Jitsu and have been using your routines to get back into shape and it feels really great. Keep up the good work.
Comment by Billy Feb 05, 09, 2:50 pmTHANK YOU!!! I have had chronic neck pain for about 7 years now {I’m 24}. You’d think that someone so relatively young could “bounce back” after numerous therapies: chiropractic, cranial sacral massage, deep tissue massage, acupressure, and physical therapy. Yoga in general has been the only thing that has given me temporary relief {when the muscles get warm, but when they cool–the pain returns}. I have done these exercise you showed and I am 100% pain-free immediately afterward! I will continue to do them daily. I can’t believe it! I just didn’t know exactly what about yoga did the trick for me, but this is it! I cannot thank you enough. I can now go through life without neck and shoulder pain, which had previously inhibited me from doing some of my favorite activities such as running {I like to incorporate both yoga and running together}. May God bless you! This is a wonderful, life-changing site. Thank you!

Comment by Esther Apr 11, 09, 9:43 pmDehydration can cause pain, especially in back, neck and head.
Research has shown a lot of backpain would get better if people would drink more water.
Be well,
Esther
