Hi Everyone,
I made this for all of you who are feeling less than great during you menstruation. It helps you through it by relieving back pain and relaxing you in general, it definitely helps me through it anyway, try it out and see what you think!
The poses I demonstrate in this sequence are:
supta baddha konasana / reclined bound angle pose
head to knee forward bend / janu sirsasana
wide angle seated forward bend / upavishta konasana

Comment by Stephanie May 05, 09, 4:58 pmHi Zeinab.
Comment by Esther May 07, 09, 8:17 amThat’s great, a very exciting time for you…
In your ninth month I would mostly recommend a lot of relaxation, at this stage you want to be lying on your side doing the relaxation. As well what would be good is sitting and breathing into your belly, through your nose just being present. I have a pregnancy yoga video on my site, you can have a look at that, Jess who is doing the yoga is nine months pregnant as well, there is a part 1 and 2. However, Jess has been doing yoga all through her pregnancy and her body was used to it, if you haven’t been doing yoga you can do some of the stretches but take it very very easy, don’t push your limits, use the chair in one of the video’s and do only maybe 3 poses at a time.
Let me know how it went.
I wish you all the best ….
Be well,
Esther

Esther, thank you so much for this video. I am completely new to yoga, this was the fist time I have ever tried it. I was desperate to get over the exceptionally painful cramps that surprised me this morning. I don’t like taking pills, I rather have my body fight the pain. Now I feel way much better, although the pain didn’t go completely away. I am very inflexible and maybe haven’t done the poses right.
Comment by Vitka Jan 26, 10, 4:09 pmI will definitely try your other videos and hopefully will get into yoga routinely.
Thank you again.
Vitka

Comment by YogStudent Aug 17, 10, 5:52 pmI am wondering if you propose any asanas specifically to improve fertility for women
